“To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear” – Buddha
“A healthy outside starts from the inside” – Robert Urich
Buddha once quoted, “To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear”. He was correct with this statement. Keeping your body healthy is an important life lesson. Most adolescents of the 21st century have an unbalanced diet which results in an unhealthy body and mind. Results from the 2007 National Children's Nutrition and Physical Activity survey, teenage boys and girls aged 14-16 are eating only half the recommended serving of fruits and vegetables per day. One in three adolescents buy unhealthy food every day.
A healthy diet is key in having a healthy body and a healthy mind.
Robert Urich stated, “A healthy outside starts from the inside” . He was true with this statement. A few simple ways to keep yourself healthy from the inside starts with the mind. Keeping your mind limber and relaxed is a way to avoid stress. Reading and challenging yourself refreshes your mind resulting in a more relaxed mind. Regenerating friendships and avoiding conflict is another way to keep your mind in a healthy condition.
HAVING A HEALTHY MIND IS HAVING A HEALTHY BODY!
